| Canon “L” (Luxury?) Lenses are by far the best lenses I have used in my short stint as a amature digital photographer.
The one here on the right is the Canon EF 500mm f/4.0 L IS USM Lens Review. I ended up buying two “L” lenses so far. They are a bit pricey but they sure do the job nicely. They tend to be heavier than the regular non-L lens you can buy from Canon. I guess that means I’m up to 5 lenses now. Two zoom “L”, two non-L zooms and a macro. Here is a shot of one of the first good photos I was able to take with my new super-cool Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM Lens. Yeah, I like it a lot. I’m never going back to non-L lenses again. |
